Beyond war, the echo of silence
War doesn’t end with the last shot. Ruins, voids, and invisible wounds remain. But also the strength of those who, among the rubble, try to start anew.

This section is dedicated to those who narrate what happens after the conflict: the fragile beauty of reconstruction, dignity in sorrow, and resilient memory. Through photography, we aim to give voice to stories of survival, justice, reconciliation, and hope in territories marked by war.

We seek images that speak of resilience.
Photographs that can listen to the silence and give it shape, light, and humanity.

It is an international photography competition open to both amateur and professional photographers. Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

All participants in the PHOTOS ON THE ROAD AWARDS automatically compete for the
“BEST AUTHOR” award.

The competition starts on May 15 and ends on July 30, 2025
