Cinema flows, photography holds.
On set, among lights and shadows, emotions and silences, the photographer becomes the invisible eye that captures the moment—making a gesture, a glance, a tension eternal. This section is a tribute to the deep dialogue between two sister arts: photography that tells the story of cinema, and cinema that lives on through the still image.
An image can become an icon, preserve the soul of a scene, and reveal what words leave unsaid.

If you can capture the magic hidden behind and within a take, this is your stage. Show us your vision of cinema.

It is an international photography competition open to both amateur and professional photographers. Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

All participants in the PHOTOS ON THE ROAD AWARDS automatically compete for the
“BEST AUTHOR” award.

The competition starts on May 15 and ends on July 30, 2025
