The Emotion Behind the Gaze

A portrait is more than just an image: it’s an encounter, empathy, intuition. If through your photography you manage to capture the soul of a person, to reveal what lies behind the eyes or in body language, this is your section.

The Photos on the Road Awards seeks portraits that speak to the heart. Shots that capture an emotion, that leave a mark. Show us your perspective on humanity.

It is an international photography competition open to both amateur and professional photographers. Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

All participants in the PHOTOS ON THE ROAD AWARDS automatically compete for the
“BEST AUTHOR” award.

The competition starts on May 15 and ends on July 30, 2025
